Trudy M. Mitchell, Director of The Mill Studio of Fine Arts
Trudy Mitchell taught English for thirty years in Connecticut and retired from the field of secondary education in 2009. She began her classical training in Academic drawing and painting with Christina Grace Mastrangelo in 2014 and is now enrolled in the atelier program of the Academy of Realist Art in Boston. She teaches classical drawing at The Mill Studio of Fine Arts in Manchester, CT in addition to creating and maintaining a well-structured educational program for the artists of all ages who study at the studio. She draws much artistic inspiration from the New England landscape as well as the history and visual traditions of central Italy through which she has traveled extensively.
